Treatment

With Tracy

Tracy’s work is built around identifying and addressing the root cause—not simply chasing symptoms. Every session blends advanced hands-on treatment, movement and gait analysis, neuromuscular retraining, recovery techniques, and individualized care based on what your body actually needs.

Many clients come to AMD after trying traditional approaches without lasting success. Often, the issue isn’t a lack of treatment—it’s that no one has taken the time to fully assess how the body is compensating, moving, and functioning as a whole.

While one session can provide relief or clarity, meaningful healing and performance improvements require commitment. The body changes through repetition, retraining, and consistency. Our philosophy is simple: trust the process. Clients who commit to multiple sessions consistently see stronger, longer-lasting outcomes than those seeking a one-time treatment.

We believe lasting results happen when care is proactive, personalized, and built over time—not rushed or reactive.

Gait Analysis & Custom Performance Insoles

With Tracy Peal and Dr. Lee Cohen

The body can only move as efficiently as the foundation beneath it. Small inefficiencies in foot mechanics and gait can create compensation patterns that affect everything from pain and injury risk to speed, power, and recovery.

Tracy’s gait analysis goes beyond simply watching someone walk. Through detailed movement assessment and biomechanical evaluation, he identifies underlying patterns that may be disrupting performance or preventing full recovery. This process helps uncover what others often overlook—allowing treatment to target the source, not just the symptoms.

Our custom performance insoles are not generic orthotics. Each pair is individualized based on your body, movement patterns, and goals to optimize alignment, improve force transfer, enhance stability, and reduce unnecessary wear and stress throughout the body.

However, insoles alone are not the answer. True change happens when the body learns to move differently. For that reason, we strongly recommend continued treatment and movement retraining to maximize the benefit of your insoles and create lasting improvements in function and performance. The clients who see the greatest success are those who commit to the process—not just the product.

Speed and Movement

with Tracy Peal

Speed is not simply about working harder—it is about moving better.

Tracy’s speed and movement training is built around improving efficiency, mechanics, force production, and overall movement quality to help athletes move faster, reduce injury risk, and perform at a higher level. Rather than relying on outdated conditioning methods or endless repetitions, sessions are focused on teaching the body how to move more effectively.

A foundational component of Tracy’s work is the Pose Method of Running, developed by Dr. Nicholas Romanov, one of the world’s leading experts in running mechanics and movement efficiency. Tracy has studied directly under Romanov, learning the principles of movement mechanics, posture, balance, and efficient force application that help athletes run with less wasted energy and greater precision.

The Pose Method emphasizes proper body positioning, rhythm, timing, and reducing inefficient movement patterns that often contribute to overuse injuries, fatigue, and performance plateaus. Whether an athlete is sprinting, changing direction, returning from injury, or simply looking to move more efficiently, sessions are designed to retrain mechanics from the ground up.

Training may include:

Sprint mechanics and acceleration work
Running form analysis and correction
Deceleration and change-of-direction mechanics
Foot strike and force transfer optimization
Neuromuscular retraining and movement efficiency
Injury prevention and return-to-play progression
Sport-specific speed development

These sessions are highly individualized based on the athlete’s age, sport, movement limitations, and goals. While athletes often notice immediate improvements in awareness and mechanics, true speed development requires consistency and repetition. Lasting gains happen through retraining movement patterns over time—not one workout.

At AMD, speed training is not about pushing harder for an hour. It is about building more efficient athletes who move better, recover smarter, and perform at a higher level.

Herbal Treatment and Functional Healing

With Dee Mattis

Modern life often leaves the body depleted, inflamed, stressed, and functioning below its potential. At AMD, we believe true healing goes beyond symptom management and starts with supporting the body as an interconnected system.

Through personalized herbal medicine and functional healing guidance, Dee works to uncover patterns that may be affecting recovery, energy, inflammation, digestion, stress, sleep, and overall wellbeing. Every recommendation is individualized—designed to support the body naturally while complementing movement therapy, performance work, and Tracy’s hands-on treatment.

Clients often seek herbal and functional support for:

  • Recovery and inflammation support
  • Stress and nervous system regulation
  • Sleep quality and energy optimization
  • Immune and digestive support
  • Hormonal balance and overall wellness
  • Long-term healing and resilience
  • Athletic recovery and performance support

This is not a quick fix or generic supplement protocol. It is intentional, personalized care built around helping the body function more efficiently, recover more fully, and sustain long-term health. By looking at the body as a whole, we aim to uncover what may be limiting healing or performance and provide thoughtful support that works with the body—not against it.

Because meaningful healing takes time, we encourage consistency and continued support for those looking to experience lasting change—not temporary relief. At AMD, our philosophy is simple: support the body naturally, address the root cause, and create a stronger foundation for long-term wellness and performance.
